Jonathan Singleton
Lead Guitar and Vocals

Jonathan began his musical career at the age of 9 when he learned to play the drums, age 10 the bass, and age 13 the guitar.  In 1992, he got his first paying gig as a drummer in the band Sugar Cane.  Jonathan continued changing instruments and bands until 1997 where he evolved into an extremely talented drummer and backup vocalist for The Smoking Jackets, where he got the opportunity to open  shows for North Mississippi Allstars, Rare Earth, Survivor, and Three Dog Night, to name a few.  After their breakup in 2001, he began doing acoustic gigs in and around Jackson, Tennessee, and later teamed up with a few members of The Smoking Jackets and formed The Grove, where he emerged into a burning lead guitar player and vocalist.  He spends his spare time working in his studio and conspiring with Dave Thomas on new original songs.
